Our Purpose Matters
The N.I.N.O. Collective is a transformative coaching program rooted in cultural truth, created to support Black men on their grief-healing journeys. Named in honor of my grandfather—affectionately known as “Nino”—this work is both personal and communal. It was born from the deep pain of his passing on February 4, 2018, and the powerful lessons I continue to carry forward.
N.I.N.O. stands for:
-
Nourish – Tend to your body, mind, and spirit with compassion, rest, nourishing food, and positive energy.
-
Intention – Move through life with purpose. Set healing-centered intentions each day.
-
Nurture – Care for your inner self and relationships. Practice gentleness and patience with yourself.
-
Overflow – Though Nino is no longer with us physically, his love, wisdom, and legacy overflow through this work.
If any part of this resonates with you, know that you’re not alone. This is for you. This is for us.
Through our S.A.B.A.R.A. Grief Framework, we center emotional restoration rooted in culture, identity, and legacy. Join us—and be part of a healing community built for and by Black men.

About Our Founder & CEO

Miguel Williams
Grief & Wellness Coach | Speaker | Healing-Centered Practitioner
Miguel Williams is the visionary founder and CEO of The N.I.N.O. Collective, a culturally rooted coaching and wellness platform created to support Black men through grief, healing, and self-restoration. With over a decade of experience as a licensed social worker, educator, and group facilitator, Miguel combines clinical insight with ancestral wisdom to guide others toward emotional liberation.
Miguel’s work is deeply personal. The passing of his grandfather, affectionately known as “Nino,” became a catalyst for a healing movement. What began as a personal journey through loss evolved into a mission to create safe spaces for Black men to grieve, reflect, and rise—in community and in truth.
Grounded in African-centered frameworks and trauma-informed care, Miguel developed the S.A.B.A.R.A. Grief Framework, a model that honors legacy, culture, and identity as powerful tools for transformation. Through workshops, coaching, healing circles, and storytelling, Miguel helps men reclaim their narratives and restore emotional balance.
Whether speaking on a stage, leading a healing session, or guiding one-on-one coaching, Miguel’s approach is authentic, compassionate, and deeply intentional. His work invites Black men to experience grief not as an end—but as a sacred portal to growth, connection, and purpose.
